Hi and welcome! Kinsmen of the Shelf is currently undergoing major changes. As I’m currently short of funds and in the mood to do lots of rereading, I’m not going to be buying a lot of new books, especially not recently released hardcovers. I see little reason to review books that have been out for a while or books that almost everyone has read. Therefore, Kinsmen of the Shelf is now turning into a reading journal. I will post some reviews of recently released young adult novels (mostly paperbacks) and books sent me to review, but for the most part, I’ll post my thoughts about books, which to be honest, I find to be more enjoyable and tell more than actual reviews do.

Review Copies: Review copies are greatly appreciated. If you’ve written a young adult book and want me to review it, just send me an email at todwellondreams@yahoo.com. Reviews will most likely be posted within a month of receiving the book. I can’t guarantee a positive review, but I can guarantee a thoughtful one. I’m also willing to read adult novels of interest to teens and some middle-grade novels. ARCs are accepted, as well as copies of recently published books.

Pretty much everything on this site is my opinion. I do not like every book, much as I would love to. You are welcome to your own opinions and to disagree with my posts, but if commenting to express disagreement, please be sure that what you say is respectful. No bashing or insulting, please.
